Karachi: On Thursday that the country’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves for the week ending September 13 was $15.89 billion.
According to data from the National Bank of Pakistan, the central bank’s reserves increased by $140 million to $8.6 billion.
The foreign exchange reserve position is split as follows:
Foreign exchange reserves held by the National Bank of Pakistan – $8.6 billion
Commercial banks hold a net foreign exchange reserve of 7.29 billion US dollars
Total liquidity foreign exchange reserves – $15.89 billion
