New York: The New York Times reported on Monday that US Senator Lindsey Graham called on New York Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss the Kashmir issue.
The leaders of the two countries discussed the common interests of the two countries and the overall situation of South Asia on the details.
Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed serious concern about the situation in India’s Kashmir, but praised the role of Senator Graham in strengthening white-white relations.
The Prime Minister said that due to the blockade of Indians in the valley, a human tragedy occurred in the occupied Kashmir. “India’s footsteps clearly threaten regional peace and stability.”
He said that the United States can play an active role in resolving the protracted Kashmir dispute.
Commenting on the Afghan issue, Imran Khan said that Pakistan hopes to achieve peace in Afghanistan and hopes that the peace process in Afghanistan will be restarted as soon as possible.
Senator Graham took the opportunity to say that the North American partnership benefits both countries. He said that Pakistan is of great significance to the reconciliation and peace process in Afghanistan.
